PU-ERH FLAVORED TEA SMALL CAKE

Pu-erh small cake (小饼茶, xiǎo bǐng chá) is a compressed Pu-erh tea that is shaped into o a compact, round shape similar to traditional Pu-erh cakes (饼茶, bǐng chá), but in a smaller size. Each cake is 7-8 grams. It is convenient for a single teapot serving.

PREPARATION

1.Rinse the Tea: Place one tea cake in a teapot or gaiwan. Rinse with hot water for 5-10 seconds to awaken the leaves and remove any impurities.

2.Steeping: Use boiling water. Steep for 20-30 seconds for the first infusion, then gradually increase steeping time for subsequent infusions.

3.Multiple Infusions: Pu-erh small cake is durable and each small tuo can yield 6-7 infusions, with flavors evolving in each brew.
